Studio Makgill is an independent design studio based in Brighton that specialises in brand identities, two of these identities i've picked out below. I really like how they've carefully considered access points to the clients brand by the customer and then applied the visuals across all aspects from the printed media to the photography and interiors to address them.

Magpie Studio
Magpie Studio is based in London and holds an impressive portfolio. A couple of my favourite projects of theirs are for Morton & Peplow - a British delicatessen in Munich and also their bold identity for Glue think tank. I love their use of colour, type and pattern which gives a fresh and contemporary feel.

Eight: 48 Magazine
These are the issues 1-5 of Eight:48 Magazine which is produced by online print seller Counter-print. The series is set to run to just eight issues and I treated myself to the back issues so far after coming across them online. Beautifully considered and produced, in tabloid format, the magazines have a specific theme in each issue featuring work and interviews with established designers, illustrators and studios. My favourite thing about them is the really bold and simple appearance which is consistent throughout and makes it so easy to read and enjoy. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the rest of the series now.
